Parameterisation space for Cornell potential in a QCD potential model

Abstract We make a critical analysis on the free parameters of Cornell potential $$-\frac{4\alpha _{s}}{3r}+br+c$$ - 4 α s 3 r + b c and provide parameterisation space for strong coupling constant $$\alpha _{s}$$ shift ‘c’ choosing linear part as perturbation in model. In heavy-light mesons $$(D,D_{s},B,B_{s}\ \text {and}\ B_{c})$$ ( D , B and ) , we have found wide range values i.e $$0.20 \le \alpha _{s}\le 0.64$$ 0.20 ≤ 0.64 with $$-1.2 c -0.66$$ 1.2 0.66 which can be used to treat confining perturbation.
